The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued Public Alert No. 041/2025, announcing the recall of Indomie brand noodles (Vegetable Flavour) following the discovery of undeclared allergens in the product.

According to the agency, laboratory findings revealed the presence of milk and eggs, substances that were not declared on the product’s label. This omission poses a significant health risk to consumers who are allergic or intolerant to these allergens.

NAFDAC stated that the recall is a precautionary measure aimed at protecting public health and preventing possible allergic reactions that could arise from consuming the affected product. Consumers who have purchased the Indomie Vegetable Flavour noodles are advised to stop consumption immediately and return the product to the point of purchase or dispose of it safely.

The agency has also directed distributors, retailers, and vendors to withdraw the affected product from circulation and cooperate fully with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.

NAFDAC reaffirmed its commitment to food safety and urged the public to remain vigilant, carefully check product labels, and promptly report any adverse reactions or suspicious food products through its official reporting channels.
