Evangelist Ebuka Obi clarified the situation regarding the acquisition of property from the Mountain of Fire Ministry in a video posted on Zion’s social media pages . He explained that it was his ministry that approached the Mountain of Fire Ministry to purchase the land, and they agreed to sell it out of their love for the work of God.
Evangelist Ebuka emphasized that the members of Zion were already in a state of praise and worship, singing and dancing, when they took over the property. Their actions were in celebration and thankfulness for the expansion, not in mockery of the Mountain of Fire Ministry.
He also issued an apology to the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire Ministry, Dr. D. K. Olukoya, and the pastors of the church for any misconceptions the video may have caused. Evangelist Ebuka expressed his tremendous respect for Dr. Olukoya, whom he described as a world-renowned servant of God.
