MTN Nigeria has added another accolade to its growing list of recognitions after being honoured by the Nigerian Academy of Engineering for its outstanding contributions to innovation, engineering excellence, and technological advancement in the country.
The award was presented on June 24, 2026, during the Academy’s Annual Technology Dinner and Awards Night held in Lagos, where MTN was recognised for its unwavering support of initiatives that promote engineering innovation and foster technological development across Nigeria.
One of the key contributions acknowledged by the Academy was MTN’s support for the Innovation Competition, an initiative that attracted 108 entries from innovators and engineers across the country. The competition provided a platform for emerging talents to showcase solutions capable of addressing real-world challenges through engineering and technology.
