MTN Nigeria has officially launched the “MTN Mega Billion Promo,” a 12-week nationwide campaign aimed at rewarding loyal subscribers and promoting financial inclusion through MoMo Payment Service Bank (MoMo PSB). The bold initiative comes in response to recent adjustments in voice and data tariffs, positioning the promo as both a celebration of customer loyalty and a cushion against economic pressure.
Speaking on the new campaign, MTN Nigeria CEO Dr. Karl Toriola stated, “We understand the evolving needs of our customers, especially in the current economic climate. The MTN Mega Billion Promo is our way of giving back, providing tangible value, and demonstrating our unwavering commitment to their financial well-being. We remain customer-first in everything we do.”
Over the 90-day period, the promo will create 195 millionaires and produce a total of 5,460 winners through daily and weekly draws. Participants stand a chance to win between ₦5 million on weekdays and up to ₦10 million in the Saturday Mega Draw.
Describing the deeper intent behind the campaign, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, Chief Marketing Officer at MTN Nigeria, said, “This is more than a reward scheme—it’s a strategic initiative to empower our customers through MoMo. Every recharge of ₦100 or more through bank channels, VTU, myMTN NG, MoMo, USSD, or logical pins earns the user entry into daily and weekly draws. Winners will be randomly selected using a point-based algorithm factoring in recharge frequency and amount.
To ensure transparency and excitement, daily draws will be streamed live across Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Winners will be notified directly by MTN, with public announcements made only with the recipients’ consent.
