
MTN has taken centre stage as the headline sponsor of the second edition of the Tech Revolution Africa Summit (Tech Revolution Africa 2.0), currently underway at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The two-day summit brings together over 5,000 participants, with more than 80 speakers, 38 exhibitors and 15 product showcases, creating a vibrant platform for conversations around emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and the future of work in Africa. Through keynote sessions, panel discussions and extensive networking opportunities, the event is focused on shaping the continent’s digital and innovation agenda.
At the summit, MTN’s Chief Information Officer, Shoyinka Shodunke, delivered the keynote address, sharing insights on technology leadership, digital transformation and the role of innovation in building scalable, future-ready ecosystems. In addition, several members of MTN’s C-suite leadership participated in fireside chats, contributing perspectives on strategy, growth and the evolving African tech landscape.
In recognition of his impact, Shodunke was honoured with the Pan-African Technology Leadership Award, celebrating his exceptional leadership and influence in building technology ecosystems that drive economic and social progress across Africa.
