In a prior edition of the promotion, notable winners included William Ubi, a Civil Engineering student from Cross River State University, and Mohammed Tijani, a farmer based in Kaduna. Both individuals secured N200,000 each, while Anthony Iyemi, a customer hailing from Warri, clinched N100,000. Globacom, in a press release from Lagos, has revealed the launch of a new phase of the Rewards program, presenting subscribers and Nigerians at large with another chance to win cash prizes and assorted rewards. The company stated, “Customers engaged in the Rewards Program will accrue cashtokens with every cumulative recharge of N1000 within a calendar month,” maintaining that subscribers will persist in earning and accumulating cashtokens so long as they adhere to the eligibility requirements. This implies that there is no ceiling on cashtoken accumulation, with all tokens credited to a virtual wallet associated with the customer’s mobile device.

“Customers will be able to view and redeem their cashtokens by dialing *6700# to purchase airtime/data, pay electricity bills, pay cable television bills or make other payments. They can also transfer their accumulated cashtokens to the bank and cash out the equivalent value”, the company added.
