Tunde Bakare, who holds the position of overseer at the Citadel Global Community Church, has come forward with strong allegations against Bola Tinubu. Bakare has accused Tinubu of being responsible for inflicting severe difficulties upon the Nigerian populace. Bakare emphasized that Tinubu’s actions have led him into a misguided conflict, as he has chosen to burden Nigerians with undue hardship.
Speaking to his congregation in Abuja yesterday, Bakare passionately conveyed his message. He urged Tinubu to reconsider his approach and instead focus on combating corruption rather than subjecting the citizens of Nigeria to unnecessary suffering. In Bakare’s view, it is imperative for Tinubu to prioritize the welfare of the less privileged and allow them the opportunity to thrive, rather than allowing corruption to persist and adversely affect the lives of Nigerians.
“By imposing hardship on Nigeria without going after those individual, cooperations who have plundered Nigeria over the years, the president has picked the wrong fight.
“Mr President, if you are truly on the side of the poor; if you are serious about the welfare of the people; if you truly want the poor to breathe as you once said, then kill corruption and not Nigerians,” he said.
