It was great moment as history was made when Digital World Forum.a non profit Organisation for the promotion of digital initiatives & STEM education), led by its founder, Engr Ajibola Abiola FCBA, paid a scheduled visit to The Ambassadors College Ota where he showered gifts on the Global Mathematics Champion, Faith Odunsi*

The hallmark of the event was when Faith was presented with a training scholarship on ROBOTICS & ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE as sponsored by RAIN, an Ibadan based Robotics Company.

Engr. Ajibola Abiola who was also the former Director of FRCN, National Broadcast Academy, Lagos described  Faith as a genius in the class of Isaac Newton, Phythagoras etc  who has not only made the ladies folk very proud but the whole Nigerians  & Africa at large.

He said the reason why Nigeria has remained where it is today is because we have relegated Science & Technology to the background by not giving enough attention to STEM and not celebrating champions emerging from  the sector. He said the citizens  have placed Music, Sports & fashion far above Science & Technology which eventually resulted into moral decadence & value disorientation for us.

He added that our lack lustre attitude to Science & Tech is the reason why Nigeria with much endowed natural resources could not turn its cocoa to chocolate and petroleum into gasoline by herself which in effect  has made the country one of the poorest & poverty stricken nations  in the world.

He concluded by saying that Nigeria will set the tone for her own development when her influential people and Organisations begin to appreciate & celebrate excellence in  Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Other members of the visiting team included Mrs Ugo Samuel of LIFEPOINT, Ugochi of TECHLIFE, Mr Adeyemi Bankole and Ms Nyeti Jonah.

The math-magician, as fondly referred to by her maths teacher is no stranger to winning accolades having previously won the CowbellPedia mathematics competition in 2018, setting a mind-blowing record dispatching  19 questions within 60 seconds during the quater-final round. She was also crowned Nigerian Queen of Mathematics and the African Queen of mathematics in 2019.
