Glo Salutes Nigerian Christians At Easter

Digital solutions provider, Globacom has sent a goodwill message to Christians in Nigeria as they join other Christians worldwide to celebrate this year’s Easter.

The annual Easter celebrations are statutorily observed after the 40-day Christian Lenten period, dovetailing into  the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday and His eventual resurrection on Easter Sunday.

In the  goodwill message issued in Lagos,  Globacom saluted Christians for their perseverance throughout the fasting period while encouraging them to further advance the virtues of  peace and  love for others  which form the tenets of the Christian faith.  “Christ made Himself  a perfect exemplar of these tenets in the way He lived and died for mankind. We all should practise the teachings of Christ in order for us to enjoy a more peaceful and prosperous nation”, Globacom noted.

While   The total telecommunications company added that  these virtues must be imbibed by all to have a nation that will ensure the greater good for the majority of the populace, saying,  “We must all hope in the future good of Nigeria and work towards it in unison“ .
