MTN Nigeria has celebrated the successful completion of the 2026 edition of its annual Y’ello Care employee volunteerism campaign, marking 25 days of impactful community service that positively affected thousands of lives across the country.
The milestone was commemorated earlier in the week during the Y’ello Care Impact Ceremony, where the telecommunications company recognised the dedication and contributions of its employees who volunteered their time, skills, and resources to support underserved communities nationwide.
Y’ello Care, MTN’s flagship employee volunteerism initiative, provides a platform for staff members to give back to society through meaningful interventions that address critical social and healthcare needs.
Over the course of the 25-day campaign, MTN employees carried out a wide range of community-focused activities, including medical outreaches, health awareness and sensitisation programmes, community sanitation exercises, blood donation drives, and other humanitarian initiatives designed to improve the well-being of vulnerable populations.
The interventions reached thousands of beneficiaries across Nigeria, reflecting the company’s commitment to creating shared value and driving sustainable social impact beyond its core business operations.
Speaking on the significance of the initiative, MTN reiterated that Y’ello Care remains a testament to the company’s culture of volunteerism and its belief in empowering employees to make meaningful contributions to society.
The company also disclosed that a comprehensive report highlighting the achievements, impact stories, and outcomes of the various interventions carried out during the campaign will be released in the coming days.
Through Y’ello Care, MTN continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting communities, promoting health and well-being, and inspiring collective action towards sustainable development across Nigeria.
