MTN Group has announced the appointment of its Chief Information Officer, Shoyinka Shodunke, as the new IT Core Design and Delivery Executive, marking a significant leadership milestone within the Group.
Shodunke brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held several senior technology and leadership positions across Africa. His career spans roles such as Director of Technology at Vodafone Ghana, Chief Technology and Information Officer at MTN Cameroon, Chief Information Officer at MTN Zambia, and General Manager, Architecture, for the MTN Shared Services Hub in Southeast Africa.
The appointment underscores MTN Group’s confidence in his strategic vision, technical expertise, and consistent leadership, particularly as the Group accelerates its AI-enabled digital transformation agenda.
