PalmPay, Africa’s top digital bank and one of the continent’s fastest-growing fintech platforms, is celebrating six years of redefining everyday banking for millions of Nigerians.

Since opening its doors in 2019, PalmPay has grown from processing its first-ever transaction to powering millions daily, now serving over 35 million users nationwide. The platform has become more than just a payment solution, it has helped small and medium businesses expand, enabled families to achieve personal goals, and made managing money safer, easier, and more rewarding.

“PalmPay was founded on the vision that banking should be accessible, secure, and rewarding for everyone,” said Chika Nwosu, Managing Director of PalmPay. “The last six years have been an incredible journey of growth, trust, and impact. Every user story reminds us that what we do is not just about technology, it’s about empowering smarter financial habits and supporting real-life dreams.”

To mark the milestone, PalmPay has rolled out the Lucky Wish Campaign, running from September 12–29, 2025. The initiative will showcase inspiring customer stories and reward loyal users with exciting prizes, including Apple AirPods, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the Samsung A16. The campaign also highlights the company’s impact since launch, putting users at the center of the celebration.

In addition, PalmPay is continuing its Hustle Grant Campaign, which supports budding entrepreneurs across Nigeria. Nine winners will be announced in phases, with the final reveal set for September 26. Each winner will receive ₦500,000 in funding to grow their businesses, a testament to PalmPay’s commitment to fostering financial empowerment.

As the company celebrates six years of innovation and growth, PalmPay is looking to the future with a renewed focus on building smarter, more inclusive financial solutions that will continue to drive positive change across Africa.
