MTN Nigeria has concluded the 2025 edition of its celebrated employee volunteerism campaign, 21 Days of Y’ello Care, reaffirming its role as a driver of inclusive digital development across Nigeria. With the theme “Connecting at the Roots: Connecting Communities Through the Use of Digital Tools”, this year’s campaign delivered transformational interventions to underserved communities nationwide.
For 21 days, MTN staff—known as MTNers—mobilized across multiple states, deploying technology, resources, and training to bridge the digital divide, empower local entrepreneurs, and support educational advancement at the grassroots.
Speaking on the initiative, MTN Nigeria CEO Dr. Karl Toriola noted, “Y’ello Care is more than corporate social responsibility—it is the soul of our commitment to Nigerians. This year, we extended our impact even deeper into communities that need it the most.”
Key Outcomes from the 2025 Campaign Include:

1 million+ lives touched through physical and digital outreach.

One of the highlights of the initiative was the support given to Muslimah’s Hangout, a women-focused empowerment network. Founder Nafisat Abdulrasaq described the campaign as a turning point: “The Y’ello Care sessions brought clarity and confidence to our members in managing money and planning for growth. MTN didn’t just visit—they invested in our future.”
COO Ayham Moussa commended the MTN team, stating: “What we achieved this year is not just visible impact but a deeper alignment with our values. MTNers brought heart and hands to build something meaningful.”
As the campaign concludes, MTN continues to roll out more Y’ello Boxes to remote areas, underscoring its long-term commitment to creating access and opportunity through technology.
MTN Nigeria’s 21 Days of Y’ello Care remains a benchmark for purpose-driven corporate engagement, proving once again that when connectivity meets compassion, lives are transformed.
