At the 2025 NAB Show, SanDisk, a leading name in data storage, is revealing its newest innovations aimed at enhancing the workflow of media and entertainment professionals. A key feature of this year’s showcase is the debut of the SanDisk® PRO-CINEMA CFexpress™ Type A Card, built specifically for high-demand environments like professional cinematography and videography. The event, which began on April 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, serves as a platform for SanDisk to highlight its latest storage solutions designed to optimize media production processes.
The PRO-CINEMA CFexpress Type A Card stands out for its impressive performance, offering read speeds up to 1800MB/s and write speeds up to 1650MB/s. These capabilities make it an excellent choice for professionals working with 8K RAW video, high-frame-rate recordings, and burst photography. Available in sizes up to 960GB, the card ensures uninterrupted extended shooting. It’s also VPG200 certified, promising reliable high-bitrate recording, and its rugged design includes drop protection, resistance to bending, and water and dust resistance with an IP57 rating.
The 480GB version of the PRO-CINEMA CFexpress Type A Card is priced at $249.99 and is available for purchase on SanDisk’s website and through authorized retailers.
Along with the CFexpress card, SanDisk is previewing two new high-performance flash drives set to release later this year. The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB-C Flash Drive offers impressive transfer speeds of up to 1000MB/s for read and 900MB/s for write, with storage capacities reaching up to 2TB. This drive is perfect for quick file transfers and backups on USB Type-C devices. Additionally, the SanDisk Extreme PRO USB-A Flash Drive offers similar speed and capacity, catering to older USB-A systems.
These new storage solutions reflect SanDisk’s ongoing mission to provide creators with reliable, efficient tools for managing large media files. Visitors to the NAB Show can explore these products firsthand at SanDisk’s Booth N1513 in the North Hall.
