ALX, Africa’s foremost tech career accelerator, is celebrating a significant milestone as 21 exceptional learners from its ALX Pathway program earn prestigious scholarships from the Mastercard Foundation. These scholarships will enable them to pursue higher education at the African Leadership College of Higher Education (ALCHE), a testament to their talent and dedication. Notably, seven of these outstanding scholars hail from Nigeria, reinforcing the country’s position as a hub for ambitious and high-potential talent within ALX’s transformative learning ecosystem.
The ALX Pathway program serves as a launchpad for young African leaders, providing them with access to global universities, scholarships, and career-defining networks. It equips participants with cutting-edge skills and unparalleled opportunities in high-growth industries, setting them on the path to success.
Reflecting on this remarkable achievement, Oluwapelumi Thomas, Learning Community Experience Specialist at ALX Nigeria, expressed pride in the scholars’ accomplishments:
“At ALX, we believe that unlocking Africa’s potential begins with empowering its people. The success of these learners in securing scholarships to ALCHE through the Mastercard Foundation is proof that talent, when nurtured with the right opportunities, has no limits. We couldn’t be prouder.”
