As part of efforts to ease the burden of rising fuel prices and promote cleaner energy, the Federal Government of Nigeria, through its Presidential Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Initiative, has introduced a program offering free CNG conversion for vehicles. This service is available at various locations across Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with more states to follow soon.

Under this initiative, vehicle owners can convert their vehicles to run on CNG without paying any fees. CNG, which costs less than a quarter of the price of premium motor spirit (PMS), offers a more affordable and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fuel options.
