Oyebanji lauds, Glo, says Ekiti State will partner with telco

Digital services company, Globacom, has been described as the leader in the telecommunications sector in Nigeria. Ekiti State Governor, Mr Abiodun Oyebanji, who made the remark on Monday when he received a team from Globacom Enterprise Business Group in his office in Ado Ekiti, also commended the company for its innovative services.

Oyebanji said, “Globacom is our own and a good ambassador of this country as far as telecommunications services are concerned.” He added that the Ekiti State Government would be delighted to do business with the company.

He also acknowledged the outstanding contributions of the Chairman of Globacom Ltd, Dr Mike Adenuga Jr., to Nigeria and the economy in general and paid glowing tribute to him for his efforts.

Governor Oyebanji expressed the readiness of Ekiti State Government to partner with Globacom, especially in the areas of building a digital economy and Fibre connectivity services to take the state to greater heights and empowerment of its youths.

In his remark, the leader of the Glo team, Adeniyi Odejobi, said Globacom was not only a total digital solutions provider but also the largest integrated telecommunications service provider in Nigeria servicing enterprises, large corperates, public sector organizations, SMEs and millions of individuals all over Nigeria.
