Nigeria’s leading payment service bank, MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank Limited (MMPSB), is set to promote its mobile wallet at this year’s Ojude Oba Festival, taking place in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The festival, celebrated annually on the third day of Eid-al-Kabir, showcases different cultural age groups parading to pay homage to the Awujale of Ijebuland.

In preparation for the Ojude Oba Festival, MoneyMaster has been conducting a month-long market activation campaign, engaging with the people of Ijebuland to introduce them to its digital banking platform, the mobile wallet. This service allows customers to transfer funds, withdraw from agents, buy airtime, and pay utility bills with ease.

During this campaign, customers in Ijebuland who open an account with MoneyMaster stand a chance to win free airtime and other gift items. According to a statement by the company, this initiative is part of their effort to support Nigeria’s transition to a cashless economy by promoting the adoption of mobile wallets, which offer convenient savings and payment solutions.

“While we celebrate with the people of Ijebuland during this festive period, we also want to highlight the benefits of MoneyMaster’s mobile wallet, which enables seamless banking from mobile phones,” the statement noted.

MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and insured by the NDIC to promote financial inclusion in line with the Nigerian financial literacy initiative. Through MoneyMaster, Nigerians can open mobile wallets, savings accounts, and individual and business accounts, and make payments, buy airtime, and pay utility bills to over 4,000 companies.

Recently, MoneyMaster was appointed as a payment partner for the Ounje Eko initiative by the Lagos State government, aimed at providing discounted food items to residents amidst rising food costs. MoneyMaster continues to support individuals and businesses in their journeys toward financial prosperity by offering tailored financial services that meet their needs.
