Nollywood Mourns the Loss of Veteran Actor Zulu Adigwe

The Nigerian movie industry is once again plunged into sorrow following the heartbreaking news of the passing of veteran Nollywood actor, Zulu Adigwe. The devastating news surfaced on social media on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the entertainment community.

The announcement of Adigwe’s demise was made by renowned movie producer, Stanley Nwoko, who took to his Instagram page to share the somber news. In a heartfelt tribute, Nwoko bid farewell to the talented actor, writing, “Rest in peace, good actor.”

Adigwe’s untimely death comes just two weeks after the tragic boat accident that claimed the lives of Junior Pope and three other Nollywood actors in Anam River. The industry mourns the loss of yet another talented artist, known for his iconic portrayal of fatherly characters in Nollywood films.

The late actor rose to fame with his memorable role as Mr. B in the beloved sitcom “Basi and Company” and further showcased his acting prowess in the critically acclaimed 2019 movie “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free.” Hailing from Enugu State, Adigwe’s journey in the entertainment world took him from his roots in Nigeria to Austria, where he completed his primary and secondary education.
