Get ready to be enthralled by “What Men Want,” a captivating, side-splitting, and heartening satire set to captivate Lagosians and enthusiasts alike on Saturday, March 30th, and Easter Sunday, March 31st, at the Main Auditorium of the Nigerian Law School, Lagos.
“What Men Want” delves into the realms of love, marriage, and sacrifice, offering a humorous take on the dynamics of a Gen-Z and Millennials co-wife scenario. The play follows the story of two women wedded to a devoted man, a representative of Generation X. The first wife, a Millennial, contrasts sharply with the outspoken Gen Z second wife. As the narrative unfolds, audiences are prompted to ponder over the principles that define a fulfilling life and the perennial query of what drives a man’s pursuit of romantic relationships with women throughout his lifetime.
Produced by Oluwanishola Adenugba for Live Theatre Lagos and helmed by director Austin Onuoha (“Itura” and “AmUnbroken”), the production stars Motunde Sogunle (“Mr. Maraconi Web Skits”) and Diana Agbede (“A True Christmas Story”). “What Men Want” promises to elicit laughter, tears, and pure entertainment.
