The digital economy is a dynamic one and pivotal to the upliftment of every nation and her citizens well-being, leveraging the deployment of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machines that put the countries at par with the rest of the world with ideas that are viable, sustainable and productive. This is what birthed the Idea Dinner with the CEOs 1.0. Themed -Critical thinking to building a sustainable digital economy.

The Idea Dinner which is more than just an event in its maiden edition aims to foster collaborations, forge new partnerships, new connections through networking and mutual engagement with ideas from remarkable industry leaders, Top CEOs who not only shape the modus operandi in their respective positions as industry leaders but also piloting affairs at the global arena.

The Idea and efforts to boost capacities , fostering synergy, sharing insights and catalyzing positive change that reverberate far beyond the confines of the gathering are some of the reasons for this epoch making maiden edition as stated in the welcome address by the convener, Ms Ugochi Emmanuel.

The gathering with arrays of industry professionals and stakeholders represented of top ranked multinational companies like ICSL, IXPN, Coscharis, Digital Reality, Coloplus, Geniserve made their contributions valid.

The CEO of Information Connectivity Solutions Limited (ICSL), Yemi Oshodib who doubled as the chairman highlighted some long term benefits Artificial Intelligence (AI), the need to leverage platforms provided by both the federal and state governments as they have demonstrated readiness with seed funding for access to the public. The impact of these is immeasurable as research development with requisite exposure and confidence boosting will be enhanced in the digital space.

To realize the full potential and benefits of this idea dinner, some of the attendees buttressed the need to retool synergies, undertake training to be able to deliver high quality research outputs to accelerate innovation, industrial growth and sustainability in the Nigeria Digital Economy.

The president of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS), Dr Muhammad Sirajo who was represented by his deputy, Dr Charles Onyeukwu, the Managing Director, Coscharis Technologies, Mr Sunday Mukoro, the Managing Director of IXPN, Mr Muhammed Rudman represented by Ugwuanyi Uchechukwu, all shared their respective thoughts on the relevance of collaboration, partnerships and the dynamics of knowledge sharing and cross fertilization of ideas in a viable digital economy.
