According to the convener of the epoch-making event, Ugochi Emmanuel, MTN Nigeria was awarded for their tremendous and remarkable efforts in promoting digital skill development and inclusion for women and girls in Nigeria’s ICT industry.
The regional sales Manager, LSW Fixed Broadband MTN Anastasia Ehidiamhen who represented the collected the award on behalf of the organisation commended the organisers of the award. She applauded the brain behind the event, WEETS and the recognition of her company as this is a testament to their enduring effort over the years. She further noted that this award is a challenge to do more in the area of encouraging the female gender to embrace ICT skills.
