Mohammed Ali Assumes Duty As CP Of Delta State

A newly promoted Commissioner of Police (CP) Mohammed Ari Alli, well reputed for his gallantry in crime fighting; has assumed duty in Delta State as the Commissioner in charge of the Command.
The CP is taking over from Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, who was recently elevated to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police and redeployed to Zone 13.
The new CP who hails from Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State enlisted in the Nigeria Police Force on 3rd March, 1990 and attended the elite Police Academy Kaduna.
He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Library/Political Science from the University of Maiduguri, a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from the Delta State University, Abraka and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial Relations from Irish University Business School, Penbroke Square, UK.
He is a thorough bred professional Police Officer who brings intellectualism to bear on his operational activities and believes that fighting crime is a collective effort. He was promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Police on 18th December 2020.
The new CP has pledged to leverage on the existing security mechanism already in place towards enthroning the reign of peace and safety in Delta State and as a way of running an all inclusive policing in the State, Ali has advised the public to always co-operate with the police and other security agencies at all times.
The police boss who is happily married   and blessed with children is very familiar with nooks and cranny of Delta State, having served there for some years in other capacities as a senior police officer.
