Kwara Governor Proudly Declares Glo as Nigeria’s Indigenous Telecom Success

The Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, expressed his admiration for Globacom, describing the telecommunications company as a source of pride for the nation, particularly in the telecommunications sector. He emphasized that Globacom holds a significant position as the leading telecommunications services provider in Nigeria. According to the governor, the company’s contributions and achievements make it a source of national pride in the telecommunications industry.

“Globacom needs no introduction to Kwara State. It is our own and a good ambassador of this country as far as telecommunications services are concerned. We will be delighted to do business with Globacom “, he added.

On Wednesday, the state chief executive delivered remarks in Ilorin, the capital of the state, during a business meeting with representatives of a data solutions provider. Mr. Eric Uwaoma, Head of Mobility Business in Globacom’s Enterprise Business Group, highlighted Globacom’s role as a pioneer in various innovations that have significantly contributed to the rapid growth and transformative changes observed in the nation’s telecommunications sector.

Emphasizing that Globacom is more than just a business, Uwaoma described it as a catalyst for economic growth in Nigeria, stating, “We offer the best plans with the best value and pricing in the country”.

Following this, the Globacom Enterprise Sales team conducted a more comprehensive meeting with Mrs. Damilola Yusuf-Adelodun, the Commissioner for Business Innovations and Technology. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the specifics of the proposed business engagements with the state.
