Excitement As Event Planner Wins First Car In Glofestival Of Joy Promo

The second prize-presentation ceremony for the ongoing Festival of Joy campaign took place in Ibadan on Thursday, and the first car was won by a 34-year-old event planner named Mrs Adeife Adeyemi-Abiodun.

Other fortunate winners at the event, which was held at Gloworld on Ring Road, also left with a variety of goodies, including power generator sets, sewing machines, and rechargeable fans, among others.

Abiodun-Adeyemi, who was overjoyed, stated, “Since I have always used Glo and it serves as my business hotline, I frequently recharged the number even before the promotion began. When I saw that Glo offered rewards to customers, I increased the frequency of my recharges. I’m glad Globacom has rewarded me for my years of loyalty

Another prize winner was Oyindamola Alabi, an agriculture student at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso, who received a generator. Alabi claimed that until she received her award, she did not believe the news. Dolapo Aremu, 24, who won a rechargeable fan, also thanked Globacom for the opportunity to win the prize. Mr Temitope Salako, a 38-year-old business centre operator who won a sewing machine, expressed his gratitude by saying he would give it to his younger sister to help her with her fashion design business.

Personalities at the event included the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Lawal; the Commissioner for Trade and Investments, Chief Bayo Lawal; the Chairman, Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Akande, and other members of the state executive council.

The Deputy Governor commended Globacom for its constant empowerment schemes, especially its loyalty reward promos through which many Nigerians have won life-changing prizes. He added that the company’s social responsibility programmes are also bettering a lot of Nigerians, in addition to its customer-friendly product and services.

Mr. Ikechukwu Onuekwusi, Globacom’s Regional Sales Manager in Oyo State, said that subscribers who wish to participate in the promo should dial the dedicated short code *611# and keep recharging (voice and data during the promo period) in order to be eligible to win the prizes on offer. He added that “The more the recharge, the higher the chances of winning”.

He added, “Subscribers who desire to become landlords and landladies of 3-bedroom houses courtesy of GloFestival of Joy must make data subscription(s) of at least N20,000 during the promo period, while those who are interested in winning cars should make a monthly recharge of N10,000; N5,000 monthly recharge for power generators, N2,500 monthly recharge for sewing machines and N500 weekly to win rechargeable fans”.

He said subscribers who wish to participate in the promo should dial the dedicated short code *611# and keep recharging (voice and data during the promo period) in order to be eligible to win the prizes on offer. He added that ” The more the recharge, the higher the chances of winning”
