The Lagos State Government and the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) are embarking on a groundbreaking collaboration to transform e-commerce logistics in Nigeria’s bustling economic hub. During a courtesy visit to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ms. Tola Odeyemi, Postmaster-General and CEO of NIPOST, emphasized Lagos’s pivotal role in driving innovation within the e-commerce sector.
“As the e-commerce landscape evolves, Lagos leads the charge in this growth. By enhancing postal and logistics services, we aim to empower small businesses and individuals thriving in this expanding sector,” Odeyemi remarked.
She highlighted her commitment to aligning NIPOST with the demands of a modern economy, identifying Lagos as a key partner in achieving this goal. Odeyemi also commended the state for its vibrant December festivities, which drew global attention and underscored Lagos’s potential to drive economic growth and diaspora engagement.
