The serene Banana Island community in Ikoyi, Lagos, buzzed with excitement on Saturday night as Globacom, Nigeria’s leading technology company, sponsored the 2024 Starlight Night to mark the start of the Yuletide season.
The event, organized by the Banana Island Property Owners and Residents Association Lagos (Biporal), was a dazzling evening of celebration, gratitude, and reflection. Featuring captivating performances by Art Afrique and SPAN, along with a spectacular Christmas fireworks display, the Starlight Night delivered a festive ambiance for attendees.
Biporal highlighted the event’s significance, describing it as “an evening to usher in the Yuletide season with families and friends, and a time to reflect on the year’s journey under a beautiful weather.”
Globacom’s sponsorship added a magical touch, including the lighting of a grand Christmas tree and the illumination of street light boxes strategically placed across Banana Island.
