According to the update, the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University is expected to announce the 25 shortlisted Fellows early next week. The selected participants will proceed to the next phase of the programme, with classes officially scheduled to commence on the 18th of May, 2026.
Ahead of the commencement of lectures, an exclusive invite-only Fellows’ Dinner has been scheduled for 17th May, bringing together participants and stakeholders of the programme for networking and engagement.
Shortlisted candidates will also be required to provide a formal letter from their employers confirming clearance to participate in the programme. The clearance is necessary because Fellows are expected to attend classes once weekly for a duration of six weeks. Applicants have therefore been encouraged to monitor their emails closely and begin discussions with their employers in anticipation of possible selection.
In addition, organisers revealed that more information would soon be released regarding Cohort 5 activities and the forthcoming MIP Alumni Weekend. The special weekend event is expected to bring together alumni of the programme alongside leadership of MTN Nigeria for carefully curated engagements, networking opportunities, and an award ceremony aimed at celebrating innovation and outstanding contributions within the MIP community.
