FBNQuest Merchant Bank Limited has officially rebranded and will now operate under the name Quest Merchant Bank Limited, after securing all required corporate and regulatory approvals.
The Bank explained that the change is strictly in name and does not affect its legal standing, ownership, management, or business operations. Quest Merchant Bank remains a licensed merchant bank under the regulation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and will continue offering its full range of merchant banking, advisory, and capital markets services.
Commenting on the rebrand, Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Afolabi Olorode, said the new identity marks an important step in the Bank’s growth journey. According to him, the name change reflects a strategic repositioning that underscores the institution’s resilience, strong performance history, and long-term ambitions, while maintaining an unwavering commitment to clients, partners, and regulators.
As part of the transition, the Bank is updating its brand assets, communications, and digital platforms to reflect the new name. It noted that some references to the former name may still appear temporarily across certain channels as the updates are rolled out.
The Bank also assured stakeholders that all existing agreements, client relationships, and obligations remain intact and fully enforceable following the change.
