Lagos Police Assure Residents of Safety Amid Rumoured Third Mainland Bridge Disruption

The Lagos State Police Command has reassured residents of their safety following online reports of a planned disruption on the Third Mainland Bridge by some youths in the Oworonshoki area.

 

In a statement, the Command confirmed that it is fully aware of the circulating information and has already taken proactive steps to maintain peace and order across the state.

 

According to the Command, officers have been strategically deployed to safeguard all commuters and ensure that no group or individual obstructs movement or disturbs public order.

 

Residents are therefore urged to go about their lawful activities without fear, while cooperating with security operatives who are working to ensure calm and stability.

 

The Lagos State Police Command reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property, maintaining peace, and ensuring the free and safe flow of traffic across the metropolis.
