MTN Nigeria has announced a planned network maintenance exercise scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The activity will affect 101 sites across 15 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Adamawa, Borno, and Kano States.
This maintenance forms part of the ongoing network restoration and enhancement project that began in August 2025 along the AFCOT–Bawo Village fibre route, aimed at strengthening infrastructure and expanding service reliability in the region.
According to the company, the cutover will significantly improve network stability by replacing damaged fibre spans and reducing multiple joints along the route. Customers may experience temporary service disruptions across 2G, 3G, 4G, and enterprise services during the two-hour maintenance window.
MTN Nigeria expressed its sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a stronger, faster, and more reliable network experience for all customers.
“We truly appreciate our customers’ patience and understanding as we continue to make vital improvements to serve them better,” the company stated.
