Not long ago, Abubakar Muktar was unsure of where life was headed. With no digital skills and limited opportunities, the future seemed uncertain. But everything changed when he joined the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, a national initiative unlocking new possibilities for young Nigerians.
Through the programme’s weekly data support, Abubakar gained access to online learning, joined the 3MTT Fellowship, and took part in his state-level hackathon. His dedication earned him a one-year Coursera license under the NITDA learning catalog, giving him world-class training at his fingertips.
Today, his days are filled with coding and building projects, fuelled by a new sense of purpose. Once dreaming of becoming a doctor, Abubakar now aspires to build a sustainable tech startup, one that supports his family and grows into a company that can stand among the world’s leading innovators.
