MoMo PSB, the digital financial services arm of MTN Nigeria, has launched its new “Customer Refer & Win Promo,” a campaign designed to reward customers with free airtime or data for life. The initiative, which is part of MoMo PSB’s mission to enhance financial inclusion and the digital banking experience in Nigeria, runs for 12 weeks from April 3rd to June 25th, 2025.
The promotion offers customers the opportunity to win incredible prizes by performing qualifying transactions and referring family and friends to open or reactivate their MoMo accounts. Customers who participate in the campaign by conducting MoMo-to-MoMo transfers, bill payments, airtime purchases, and other eligible transactions will be entered into a weekly electronic draw. Each week, 121 winners will be selected, with top prizes including free airtime or data for life and consolation prizes offering free airtime or data for one year.
Phrase Lubega, CEO of MoMo PSB, emphasized the campaign’s focus on rewarding customer loyalty while promoting the ease of using MoMo for everyday transactions. “This initiative is all about giving back to our customers. We want every transaction to be an opportunity for our users to gain more value, convenience, and benefits,” said Lubega. “Our goal is to redefine banking by making financial transactions seamless and accessible to every Nigerian.”
The campaign is open to both new and existing customers, with eligible transactions starting from as low as N200. Additionally, customers who refer others to MoMo will receive an instant 100MB of data for each successful referral.
The “Refer & Win” promo is part of MoMo PSB’s broader strategy to strengthen its position in Nigeria’s financial services sector by offering innovative, customer-centric solutions. Throughout the promo period, the company will also engage customers through nationwide activations and digital campaigns to increase participation.
The campaign has generated excitement among MoMo users, who are looking forward to the chance to win big while contributing to the growth of Nigeria’s digital banking ecosystem.
