Tragedy struck early Friday morning when a speeding vehicle, allegedly driven by suspected internet fraudsters, plowed into a group of soldiers conducting routine physical training near Myoung Barracks in Lagos.

Eyewitnesses report that several soldiers may have lost their lives in the incident, which has sent shockwaves through the military community.

“There’s blood everywhere. I was spared because I was at the back,” one of the surviving soldiers told our reporter, describing the scene as chaotic and heartbreaking.

According to accounts from those present, the car, occupied by three young men believed to be under the influence of alcohol, rammed into the soldiers at the Myoung Barracks Army Sports Camp.
