Seventeen Glo subscribers have emerged as winners in the inaugural Glo Lucky Number draw, walking away with cash prizes ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦1,000,000.

The winners were celebrated at a presentation ceremony in Lagos, while those outside the city received their prizes at designated locations across Nigeria. The Glo Lucky Number game, powered by Globacom in partnership with NCC-licensed aggregator Pisimobile and VAS provider Yellowdot, is designed to reward subscribers daily.

The game involves a random selection process where subscribers’ numbers are matched sequentially from right to left with randomly chosen numbers from the pool of active Glo subscribers.

Among the winners, Yusuf Malzo, a Lagos-based dry cleaner originally from Bauchi State, was ecstatic to receive ₦1,000,000. He shared plans to expand his laundry business, describing the prize as a life-changing blessing.

Olajide Afolabi, a security guard from Ondo town, won ₦500,000 after consistently participating in the game. He shared that he was on the verge of giving up before receiving the surprise of his life. Afolabi expressed his gratitude and vowed to keep playing.

Emmanuel Henry, a Lagos-based driver, took home ₦100,000. Encouraged by his win, Henry pledged to continue participating for the chance to secure even larger prizes.

At the event, Mojeed Aluko, Head of Value Added Services at Globacom, highlighted the simplicity of joining the game. “Subscribers can participate by dialing *4445# and following the prompts or sending keywords such as WIN, LW, or LM to 4445 for daily, weekly, or monthly draws,” he explained.

With more draws scheduled for later this month and the upcoming year, Globacom reiterated its commitment to rewarding loyal subscribers through exciting initiatives and substantial cash prizes.
