ALX Africa, the acclaimed career and entrepreneurship accelerator, has once again strengthened its commitment to driving innovation on the continent by hosting an exclusive product management masterclass. This session, part of the ALX Founders Academy, aimed to equip participants with the skills and strategies needed to transform innovative ideas into thriving businesses.

The masterclass was led by Chidi Afulezi, a product development expert and Managing Principal of redKola Digital Labs. Afulezi delivered a comprehensive session on product development and management, emphasizing the critical role of understanding and solving real-world problems in creating successful products. He stressed that identifying the right market needs and aligning solutions to those needs are key to building impactful products.

“Entrepreneurs need to fall in love with the problem they are solving,” Afulezi advised. “The entrepreneurial journey is about discovery—identifying the problem, understanding the customers facing those challenges, and crafting solutions that are both feasible and valuable.”
