These and many more important roles are what Eko Mi, Eko E which was birthed since 2021 by a visionary leader, dogged fighter for equity, justice and egalitarian society, leveraging his background as a renowned Journalist / Publisher, Otunba Bestman Nze Jumbo Alias ( Irumole )set out to achieve, which have stayed true to its mission and vision, reported issues and events, honor and awarded those who are honor and award deserving and has brought to the front burner issues that needed to be addressed , to celebrate outstanding individuals and organizations , both public and private to stay true to the tenets of professionalism without bias and given voice to the voiceless in the society. These and many more are the set out roles Eco Mi, Eko E is set out to achieve with resilience, doggedness, and determination.
The maiden Edition of Eko Mi, Eko E Awards 2024 with the
Theme: Honouring Excellence, Amplifying Achievements , according to the Publisher Otumba BestMan.
The event was celebrated on thursday, 18th of july, 2024.at the prestigious Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
Like the name implies, Eko Mi, Eko E typifies the energetic , welcoming, accommodating spirit of Lagos, that is providing a conducive friendly environment for both the indigenes of the state as well as its visitors in every area of endeavors.
The Eko Mi, Eko E Awards event is the brainchild conceptualised out of Eko Mi, Eko E Magazine. A publication that has been sustained for 3 plus years to contribute to the development of Lagos state through hard work and total dedication .
The Eko Mi, Eko E is positioned and totally committed to projecting Lagos positively and beaming a searchlight on the various areas the government can further bring the dividend of democracy to the people. According to the Editor, Mr. Victor Ganzalo, Eko Mi , Eko E was born out of the love and passion, as well as the deep emotional connection of the vision of Lagos as a home as well as a city, that ‘s not only welcoming to all but also provides an opportunity for all and sundry to excel. As it has lived up to its name; The Centre of Exellence!.
Another key objectives of the Eko Mi Eko E are to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in environmental sustainability, innovation health, education, general infrastructure development and security as well as the wellbeing of the citizens, etc.
Key industry leaders, government officials, celebrities ,etc were all invited recognised and given award as they took turns to give good will messages in testament to relevance of the event.
