The Executive Council and Members of the African Public Relations Association (APRA) extend their heartfelt condolences to all Kenyans following the recent crisis in the Republic of Kenya. In this time of distress, APRA stands in solidarity with the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) and the entire Kenyan community.
APRA urges the Government of Kenya to prioritize the well-being of its citizens. In alignment with the Presidency’s expressed commitment to dialogue, we call for the government to engage in stakeholder consultations with empathy and an openness to reconciliation. It is imperative that these conversations foster understanding and peace.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the families who have lost loved ones and wish a swift recovery to those injured during the protests. Our thoughts and prayers are with the souls of the deceased, hoping for their eternal repose.
In these challenging times, APRA remains committed to supporting the people of Kenya and promoting peace and unity.
