Tyla has credited Tems for breaking barriers and ushering in a new era of global recognition for young African female artists. The emerging star made this bold statement during a recent interview with Kiss Fresh, UK, shedding light on Tems’ unparalleled impact in the music industry.

 “Working with Tems is amazing. She is so talented. She is literally a force. I’m so honoured to have worked with her. She has opened so many doors for us [young African female artists].
“We made such a beautiful song with such a beautiful message. It is a song for the girls and it is made by the girls.” She said.

Expressing her admiration for Tems’ exceptional talent, Tyla shared her excitement about collaborating with the Nigerian sensation on her self-titled debut album. The track “Number 1,” featuring Tems, stands as a testament to their creative synergy and musical chemistry, captivating audiences since the album’s release earlier this month.
