“Ounje Eko”: MoneyMaster Selected as Payment Partner

The Lagos State Government has enlisted MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank Limited (MMPSB), Nigeria’s foremost payment service bank, to aid in collection and payment services at its Ounje Eko markets located throughout the state. This partnership is part of the “Ounje Eko” Food Markets initiative, designed to alleviate the financial burden on residents of Lagos.

MoneyMaster PSB will oversee payment collection across 57 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) as part of the program. Launched in response to the escalating food prices nationwide, the initiative covers all five divisions of Lagos State and was officially announced on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

According to a statement released in Lagos, MoneyMaster PSB will leverage its advanced payment solution to streamline payment processes and ensure efficient reconciliation. This technological infrastructure aims to enhance the shopping experience for Lagosians patronizing the markets, promising a seamless transactional experience.

“The appointment of MMPSB is a testament to the quality of payment solutions that the bank deploys to its growing business partners in private and public sectors”, The statement concluded.
