Infobip, a global cloud communications platform, has expanded its collaboration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing to enhance customer engagement and improve marketing campaign performance. The integration of Infobip’s SMS channels into Microsoft’s marketing platform allows Dynamics 365 users to send and receive real-time text messages for marketing purposes.
In today’s digital landscape, customers prefer to interact with businesses through their preferred communication channels. This shift in consumer behavior necessitates the delivery of real-time marketing promotions and campaigns through popular channels such as SMS.
By integrating Infobip’s native SMS functionality with Dynamics 365, marketing teams can now create real-time campaigns that utilize text messages to effectively reach and engage customers. With its extensive global reach and local presence, Infobip aims to become the go-to cloud communications platform for multinational businesses seeking to connect with customers worldwide.
This integration enables businesses to respond promptly to customer actions, send personalized messages, and establish connections through the channels customers use most frequently. Infobip’s SMS integration, which tops the list of competitors on the Dynamics 365 platform, is now available worldwide via the real-time marketing module in Dynamics 365 Marketing.
Veselin Vuković, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Infobip, emphasized the importance of engaging customers on their preferred channels: “Whether it’s for sales, support, or marketing, customers increasingly want to interact with businesses or brands through their preferred channels, which often involves sending and receiving personalized text messages. Through our enhanced collaboration with Microsoft and the native SMS integration, we enable enterprises to meet their customers where they are, fostering customer loyalty and driving higher sales.”
Vuković further highlighted the achievements resulting from the partnership between Infobip and Microsoft. They are active participants in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and Microsoft Appsource, and as a Microsoft partner, Infobip has integrated its chatbot building platform, Answers, on Azure. Additionally, they provide WhatsApp for Business through Microsoft Bot Framework Composer and have integrated SMS and WhatsApp solutions into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.
Jim Nakashima, Head of Product Management at Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing, praised Infobip’s contribution to the platform: “Infobip adds value to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing with its omnichannel communications solutions. Through our SMS integration with Infobip, businesses and brands using our platform can create and deliver real-time customer experiences, including marketing campaigns through SMS, thereby meeting their customers on the channels where they are most likely to engage.”
This news aligns with Gartner’s recent report on Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), in which Infobip is recognized for delivering a comprehensive CPaaS solution. The report acknowledges Infobip’s APIs for voice, SMS, email, and its impressive array of over-the-top (OTT) channels.

Veselin Vuković, vice president of Strategic Partnerships at Infobip, said: “Whether for sales, support or marketing, customers increasingly want to engage a business or brand over their preferred channels. For many, that means sending and receiving personalized text messages.
“That’s why we’ve enhanced our collaboration with Microsoft with our native SMS integration. In doing so, we’re helping enterprises meet their customers where they are and benefit from better customer loyalty and higher sales.
“I also want to reinforce all we have accomplished in concert with Microsoft where we are active players on both Microsoft Azure Marketplace and Microsoft Appsource, and as a Microsoft partner, we’ve now integrated our chatbot building platform Answers on Azure, provided WhatsApp for Business through Microsoft Bot Framework Composer and integrated SMS and WhatsApp solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.
“This further integration demonstrates how we are the one communication platform for every platform.”
