The Nigerian Bar Association organized a one-day training for police officers from the Lagos State Command in order to deepen their understanding of their roles in implementing the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, as well as the need for them to adhere to principles that ensure the protection and preservation of human rights.

The program, which was conducted in collaboration with the Mac Arthur Foundation, aims to improve the competence of command officers and troops in carrying out their constitutional mission of defending lives and property, as well as the observance of the Rule of Law in the course of their duties.

While expressing gratitude to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for conducting the training, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi has guaranteed that officers and men of the Command will apply the learned information in the fulfilment of their statutory duties.
