Again, the Lagos State Waste Management Agency, LAWMA, has shown that truly the welfare and safety of its workers are of upmost importance when it distributed safety materials such as disinfectants, hand gloves, immune booster drugs, hand wash, hand sanitizers, soaps, face masks amongst other items, enough to cater for over 25000 staff of the agency which includes Highway Sweepers, PSP Operators and all waste Handlers.
While making the presentation to the sweepers and CEOs, at a brief ceremony held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the LAWMA headquaters , the MD/CEO of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni noted that the exercise which started last year is not a one off but a continuous one that will ensure that all staff of the agency is adequately provided for and protected against the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic that has claimed thousands of lives across the nation.
