Conn8 Media Solutions NG has emerged as one of the standout honourees at this year’s CODEFEST Hackathon, earning recognition for its outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s tech and startup landscape. The award was presented at the innovation expo held at the University of Lagos, celebrating organisations that are redefining the country’s digital future.

The media consultancy, publishers of Tech & Biz News NG and eTimes Africa News,  has steadily positioned itself as a voice for emerging founders, using storytelling, strategic communication, and media advisory to support tech ventures finding their footing.

Founder Anthony Emeka Nwosu described the recognition as a meaningful nod from the ecosystem. He noted that although working with early-stage innovators can be financially demanding, the mission has always outweighed the challenges.

“This award tells us the community sees what we are building,” he said. “It is not always easy supporting startups, but passion keeps us going. We are proud to be part of their journey.”

Nwosu also reiterated Conn8’s commitment to changing the narrative about Nigeria, pointing out that the nation’s creativity and entrepreneurial energy are often overshadowed by negative news.

“Nigeria is not just stories of crises. We have a thriving startup scene, talented youths, and companies breaking boundaries. We want the world to see that,” he stated.

Operating from Ikeja, the firm provides services ranging from brand profiling and digital marketing to event partnerships, corporate communication, and media coverage for innovation-focused organisations. Its platforms continue to highlight success stories from Nigeria and across Africa, promoting a more balanced representation of the continent.

CODEFEST Hackathon 2025, themed “Build for Nigeria”, brought together young talents from across the country, challenging them to design solutions for real national problems. The seven-day virtual hackathon culminated in a physical event at UNILAG, featuring product demos, expert reviews, and an awards ceremony. The organisers are also aiming for a Guinness World Record for participation.

With this recognition, Conn8 Media Solutions NG reinforces its position as a crucial communication partner for Nigeria’s tech community and a strong advocate for the country’s rising innovators.
