The Nigeria South Africa Ministerial Business Roundtable, held on October 23 in Lagos, marked a significant step forward in deepening economic collaboration between the two nations.

Hosted at the South African High Commission headquarters in Nigeria and anchored by the Deputy Minister of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), the high-level dialogue built on the progress of the Bi-National Commission (BNC) framework, a key platform driving strategic cooperation between Africa’s two largest economies.

The roundtable focused on translating policy commitments into practical outcomes, particularly in the areas of trade expansion, investment facilitation, and regulatory alignment.

Designed as a results-driven engagement, the forum provided a direct platform for government leaders, policymakers, and private sector players to connect, explore opportunities, and shape initiatives that will drive sustainable growth across the continent.

In essence, the Nigeria–South Africa Ministerial Business Roundtable reaffirmed both nations’ shared commitment to building stronger economic bridges and positioning Africa as a unified force in the global market.
