The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has officially launched the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Africa-BB-Maps initiative in Abuja, marking a major step towards enhancing broadband mapping and connectivity across the continent.
The event brought together key stakeholders from government, industry, and development partners to discuss strategies for improving broadband infrastructure, bridging the digital divide, and fostering inclusive digital growth in Nigeria and Africa at large.
Through this initiative, the NCC aims to strengthen data-driven planning for broadband deployment, enabling more efficient investment, policy-making, and digital service delivery nationwide.
