President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with former Senator Smart Adeyemi over the passing of his mother, Princess Victoria Adeyemi. In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Saturday, Tinubu acknowledged the enduring impact of her legacy, especially in the Iyara community of Kogi State and among her numerous associates in Niger State, where she lived for 45 years and raised her six children, before relocating to Abuja. He also paid tribute to the late matriarch and community leader, fondly remembered for her benevolence, humility, and peaceful disposition, which endeared her to all who came in contact with her.
“The President hopes that Mama Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi’s magnificent life of service and moral fortitude would bring comfort to the Adeyemi family and everyone grieving for her. The statement said, “Tinubu prays for the quiet rest of her soul and for Almighty God to give consolation to the grieving family and friends, as well as the strength to endure this irreversible loss.”
