Globacom has unveiled a range of highly affordable roaming packages tailored for Nigerians embarking on pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, offering customers the ability to stay connected with family and friends at unbeatable rates.

The leading telecommunications provider announced that its Hajj roaming packages are designed not only for pilgrims but also for Nigerians visiting Saudi Arabia for business or leisure, ensuring they enjoy seamless communication at significantly reduced costs.

“By providing the best roaming solution where customers can make voice calls and browse using a single bundle, they are assured of getting the best value for money while on pilgrimage or any other visit to Saudi Arabia,” the company said in a statement.

Globacom emphasized that the initiative covers both bundle subscriptions and pay-as-you-go options, offering flexibility and choice for all categories of travelers. The bundles are competitively priced and come with generous data and call allowances:

  • ₦2,500: 100MB + 5 mins voice (valid for 1 day)

  • ₦5,000: 250MB + 10 mins voice

  • ₦10,000: 1GB data (valid for 10 days)

  • ₦25,000: 2.5GB data (valid for 30 days)

  • ₦50,000: 6GB data (valid for 60 days)

These packages ensure that customers can document and share memorable moments from their pilgrimage with loved ones in Nigeria and across the globe.

Importantly, subscribers can activate their preferred bundle while still in Nigeria, with the service automatically kicking in upon arrival in Saudi Arabia. To subscribe, customers simply dial *312#, select option 8 for roaming, and follow the prompts.

For those who prefer pay-as-you-go usage, Globacom offers some of the lowest roaming charges available:

  • Data: ₦30 per MB

  • Calls to Nigeria: ₦350 per minute

  • Local calls within Saudi Arabia: ₦270 per minute

  • Local SMS: ₦50
