Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State, behind closed doors. Atiku, who ran for president in 2023 on the Peoples Democratic Party platform and is expected to run again in 2027, arrived at the OOPL about 12:36 p.m., according to reports.
He was joined by former Cross River State Governor Liyel Imoke, former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, Bauchi Governor Abdul Ningi, and Obasanjo’s close ally, Otunba Oyewole Fasawe, among others.
Meanwhile, as of press time, the objective of the visit remained unknown.
