Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has commended Nigerians for their resilience amid ongoing national challenges, urging them to remain hopeful as the country continues its efforts toward positive change. He also stressed the importance of national unity as a critical factor for moving the nation forward.
In a goodwill message to the people of Enugu State and Nigerians at large, Governor Mbah congratulated the nation on its 64th independence anniversary. He lauded the enduring spirit of Nigerians and encouraged them to stay optimistic despite current difficulties.
“On this milestone celebration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, I congratulate Ndi Enugu and all Nigerians,” Mbah said. “I commend them for their resilient spirit and patriotic fervor, and I urge them not to be discouraged by the challenges of today. Difficulties dissipate in the face of unwavering optimism.”
The governor expressed confidence in the ongoing efforts of the federal government to address the nation’s challenges, assuring citizens that brighter days lie ahead.
“Hope springs eternal! There is certainly light at the end of the tunnel, especially with the strong determination of our president to turn the situation around for good,” he noted.
Mbah also highlighted the significance of unity, calling on Nigerians to continue supporting the government and working together for the nation’s progress. “Our independence and the decades since have proven how much we can achieve when we remain united,” he added.
